Kitchenware Records
Client : Kitchenware Records
Website : www.kitchenwarerecords.com
Established in 1982, Kitchenware Records was the recording wing of The Soul Kitchen, a once in a blue moon club ran by burgeoning music, film and fashion makers, which hosted the likes of Aztec Camera, The Fire Engines and New Order. The somewhat unconventional playlist extended from The Velvets through Orange Juice to Parliament and a Soul Kitchen night would often feature a film show or a photo gallery rather than a support act.
The label now supports artists such as Editors, The Motorettes, Sirens, The Changes, Karmina Francis, kid:coda and Waiting For Volkaerts.
Presence were commissioned to build a user-friendly and easily-updated website to showcase artist information and news. The website also contains a 'Classics' area devoted to artists such as Prefab Sprout, Fatima Mansions and The Kane Gang.

The beauty of working with Presence is that although they work with cutting edge design technology, they are able to communicate in plain English. You never feel blinded by science. They are able to understand the needs of the client and to represent that sometimes 'hazy' idea in a manner both accurate and appealing manner.
