BSW Timber is the largest sawmilling business in Great Britain, with six sawmills in the UK and one in Latvia, producing a total of over 600,000m3 of sawn timber per year.
BSW Timber supply sawn timber products to customers in the Construction, Pallet and Packaging, Fencing, Decking and Cladding product sectors.
We were commissioned to design and build the main online presence of BSW Timber - www.bsw.co.uk. The core element of the brief was to combine usability, accessibility and good quality content with a strong visual identity.
Together with up-to-date news and product information, the website also features detailed animations which explain and communicate the complex processes undertaken at BSW Timber sawmills.
The website is built using standards compliant XHTML and CSS, and is powered by a custom-developed PHP and MySQL content management system.
